#Friday Feature – The Return of Brandon!
Recently, we were thrilled to welcome back a classic Office Sign Company employee, Brandon Henning! Previously known as the Braille Baron, Brandon worked in the Braille Department, but now he is taking on a new challenge, lasers! He is currently working in our engraving department and it is an absolute treat to have him back. He makes a fantastic addition to our culture, and while he is a familiar face around here, you, the informed reader, may not know as much about him. So here is Brandon himself to fill you in!
- What’s your name?
Brandon Henning
- Where are you originally from?
Victoria, TX
- What’s your current position at Office Sign Company?
Laser Engraving Specialist. Until my super-secret, super fancy title update goes through.
- Can you tell us what all that will entail?
I will be operating a number of laser engraving machines, with the assistance of Adobe Illustrator, to produce a wide array of standard and custom signage. While laser operations will be my primary role, I will step into other production roles to assist where and when it becomes necessary.
- Have you worked anywhere previously? If so, where?
Right here at Office Sign Company! I also do freelance design, digital art, and voice acting on the side.
- Do you have any hidden talents or random fun facts you’d like to share?
Well, if you’ve seen our “Hero Makers” ad online, you’ve definitely heard my voice providing proud narration. ????
- Favorite activity or sport/sports team?
My favorite activities include composing music, making art, or doing voice over work. Otherwise I don’t really dig sports.
- What are you most looking forward to while working here?
Returning to work with my second family. Each member of our team is an absolute pleasure to speak with and work along side of.
- What’s your favorite part about this community?
The positive mixture of old and young culture and seeing the values of both intermingle to create an entirely new organism. It’s rather exciting to be here!
- When I’m not at OSC, you can find me…..
At home with the Mrs. and my dog. Either working on composing music, doing voice over work, making art of some kind, or just doing handiwork around the house. I live a simple life. 😛
- What’s your favorite meal/restaurant in Fargo??
Boulder Tap House, they make great food every time I visit (and provide gluten free options to keep me out of a hospital visit).
