Though I haven’t gotten to work directly with Carli very often, I will say that every single interaction with her is like a breath of fresh air. Tell us a little bit more about what this entails? We put together and check over each order before it goes out the door. We have high quality standards here at Office Sign Company- we will remake or revisit a sign as many times as we need until we have the best quality possible!
Where did you go to college? I graduated from MSUM with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology.
Where did you start your career? Office Sign Company is my first experience in the sign industry.
How long have you been with OSC? My 2 year anniversary is this month!
Favorite thing about your job at OSC? The positive and friendly environment. I genuinely enjoy coming to work to see my coworkers every day.
Favorite OSC tradition, event or work perk? OSC Olympics ’cause our team won GOLD!
Favorite thing about Fargo / Moorhead? Downtown. There always seems to be a cool event happening or a band playing somewhere.
When I’m not at OSC you can find me….At home with my husband and Ben, my poodle. Or maybe TJMaxx.
Favorite place to travel to? I will be going to Europe for a third time this spring!
Favorite restaurant in town? Boiler Room.
Favorite sports team? Not really a sport watching gal, but I will cheer for the Vikings when need be.
What advice would you give to younger people trying to get into your profession? Roll with the punches and be open to a career different from “your plan”. I didn’t know anything about the sign industry when I accepted this job 2 years ago. As it turns out, taking this job was one of the best decisions I ever made.
