Why We Love America’s Pastime (And You Should, Too!)
Office Sign Company prides itself on three things: culture, quality, and community. And, the greatest of these is lov- community! In all seriousness, we are a local company who supports local industries and happenings. One of those being America’s favorite pastime – baseball. Fargo Youth Baseball, to be specific.
Fargo Youth Baseball is not new to our blog. If you keep up with all things OSC, you may remember the featured spotlight we did on them a few months back. If not, here’s a little background to our local little league.
Fargo Youth Baseball was established in the Fall of 2017 for ages 5 to 15. The merge of Fargo Babe Ruth ad Fargo Little League with support from Fargo Park District allowed for this organization to arise this year. Not only is Fargo Youth Baseball presenting a new organization to the community, but their new building (The ATTIC) is open and ready to be enjoyed by all!
Essentially, Fargo Youth Baseball provides the youth of our community with the opportunity to learn baseball, and provides enhanced opportunities for more advanced players. In 2017, over 1,100 kids participate in youth baseball in Fargo. This year, that number is expected to jump to over 2,000 kids and 200 teams for the 2018 season. Beyond that, they just opened up the ATTIC, a fully equipped indoor practice facility. It’s a North Dakota kid’s dream – playing a summertime sport during winter, indoors. What more could you ask?
So, how does this involve Office Sign Company? As we mentioned early, we are a community-driven industry, and a proud sponsor for this volunteer-based organization. In the hopes that we can shine more light on this awesome organization, we’re highlighting a well-deserved sponsorship opportunity.
If you’ve ever been to a baseball game, you’re familiar with the banners that line the fence around the ball field. With this sponsorship opportunity, you will have a personalized banner made to reflect you/your company (made by yours truly), with exposure from more than 500 people visiting the facilities on a nightly basis.
In short, the purpose of this sponsorship will directly go towards Fargo Youth Baseball and ongoing improvement projects at the ball field so that the youth of our community can continue practicing America’s pastime. See the poster below for more information, and email alex@fargoyouthbaseball.com for further inquiries. Play ball!
