Museum placards are signage products that are often overlooked; we field quite a few questions asking if we can make them. The answer is yes, and they are quite an easy sign to fabricate, actually! All of our museum placards are made out of foam core, unless otherwise specified. If you’d like higher-quality, longer-lasting material, acrylic is an excellent option. Though this option isn’t identified under “Museum & Show Room Placards,” you can easily customize your own under “Engraved Office Signs.”

When you visit the “Plaques, Gifts, and Awards” category of our website and locate “Museum & Showroom Placards,” you’ll come to find that the ordering process is quite simple. Once you pick out the size you’d like (sizing can range from 4”W x 2”H to 6”W x 4”H), our Production Personnel will UV print your text (and/or custom design) in a matter of minutes! If you go the engraved, acrylic route, the fabrication process doesn’t vary too much, and we’re happy to customize how you see fit!

From there, you can proudly display your museum placard graced with your name and artwork however you’d like. Mounting options for the foamcore museum placards include foamtape, 3M clear tape, Velcro, or an adjustable 3M Command Strip. Given the lightweight material, the mounting option is completely up to you!
