Hailing from small town Washington, you could say Fargo is a bit different than what I’m used to. But, as I’m quick to remind many who doubt the charm that North Dakota has to offer; different is never bad, it’s just different.
So how did a PNW gal like me end up in North Dakota? That, my friends, would take way too long to cover in one post. But hey, I’ll grab a coffee with you sometime and we’ll get into the nitty gritty of it all. It’s a pretty great story if you ask me.
When I’m not soaking up the stellar sunsets that North Dakota is famous for, or drooling over endless fields of sunflowers, you can usually find me at home with my husband; cooking up something delicious or planning our next adventure. And though I’ve come to realize that North Dakota doesn’t really have any mountains to climb, I can’t say I’ll miss running hills.
Other than my affinity for outdoor activities and eating my weight in pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, I love spending time with newfound friends, building community, writing on my blog and dabbling in amateur photography.
So here I am, week one with Office Sign Company as the new Public Relations Specialist and I’m convinced that I’ve landed amongst some of the very best people. I didn’t know that the artsy perfectionist with attention to detail and a commitment to quality even existed quite like it does at OSC.
So what exactly is a PR Specialist you ask? Well, I’ll be wearing a lot of hats around here. From assisting with marketing and social media, to writing up blog posts that will keep our customers informed of the latest tips and trends, to keeping OSC connected to the community by attending as many events as possible and meeting as many of YOU as possible. I’m so thrilled to be a part of this team and looking forward to seeing what I can bring to the marketing, social media and PR efforts of Office Sign Company.
Want to connect about all things signs, social and PR? I’m your girl. Find me on Twitter @LillyFromOSC or shoot me an email at lilly@officesigncompany.com and we’ll grab that coffee I mentioned earlier. And if computers aren’t your thing…how are you reading this?? But really, give us a call anytime at 701.526.3835 we’d love to talk signs with you.
Anyway, like the card that sat on my desk to welcome me on my first day said, “Welcome home, Lilly.” And indeed, I think I’ve found the home I’ve been looking for all along.
