Friday Feature: Jaden, The Multi-Faceted Sublimation Specialist
One of the freshest faces at Office Sign Company, we’re happy to be shining the spotlight on Jaden this week. Jaden is our newest production member, with the official title of Sublimation Specialist. Though his daily duties are mainly related to cutting, printing, and preparing metal signs and name badges, we were also excited to learn of his passion for photography, and plan to have Jaden be taking some of the in-action photos of products that have been assembled at our production facility. Still learning the ropes of the Office Sign Company culture, it didn’t take Jaden long to fit in with the team and start making a difference in our ever-busy production department. Here’s a little bit more about our newest team member…
- Name: Jaden Cote
- Position at OSC: Sublimation Specialist
- Tell us a little more about what this entails: I cut metal to fit into specific frames. I then press the customer approved art onto the piece of metal using a specific amount of Heat, Pressure, and Time using a heat press.
- Where did you go to college? If you graduated, what is your degree in?: I graduated from Dakota College at Bottineau, with an associates degree in photography.
- Where did you start your career?: Fargo
- How long have you been with OSC?: Just about 3 weeks.
- Favorite thing about your job at OSC?: The people and how friendly everyone is.
- Favorite OSC tradition, event, or work perk?: The Halloween potluck was probably my favorite thing so far.
- Favorite thing about Fargo/Moorhead?: Downtown.
- When I’m not at OSC, you can find me…: Probably just at home or taking photos.
- Favorite place to travel to?: Yellowstone
- Favorite restaurant in town?: Kroll’s Diner.
- Favorite sports team?: Don’t have any favorite team.
- What advice would you give to young people trying to get in your profession?: Just work hard, and apply yourself.
