Giving Hearts Day with FargoStuff & Office Sign Company
Giving Hearts Day is our region’s largest day of fundraising, and it’s less than two weeks away! What are we doing for Giving Hearts Day 2019? Head over to FargoStuff (our sister site) and see for yourself!
We are so excited to be creating these popular Fargo (and now Moorhead!) hearts to contribute to this amazing event. For those who are unfamiliar with our sister site, FargoStuff, Office Sign Company purchased this online retail store almost three years ago. Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to participate in even more community events by selling Fargo stuff, and producing it through Office Sign Company. Though these are two separate businesses, we consist of the same personnel, locations, and production capabilities. FargoStuff advertises; Office Sign Company produces. That being said, we are excited to field as many heart orders as you can give us this Giving Hearts Day!
Office Sign Company’s Contribution
Here’s how it works on Office Sign Company’s end: first, we order in thousands of square feet worth of reclaimed wood from Dakota Timber Co.
Then, we send it through our Zund (large-format laser) to cut out this heart shape!
Once all of the hearts are cut out, it’s sent over to the flatbed which is where all of our UV printed direct-to-substrate magic happens. To ensure quality of these hearts, they are sprayed with a “laminate,” so to speak, that seals the ink. Our flatbed can print on 16 hearts at a time, and our hearts are dry to the touch as soon as they’re complete!
They’re then sent from our Production Headquarters to our downtown location. This is where all of our FargoStuff inventory is kept, as well as our showroom. After you place your order, you can pick your heart up from our friendly Customer Service staff!
Last year, your contributions helped raise well over $4,400 for non-profits in our region, and we’re so excited to see the outcome after this year’s Giving Hearts Day! To order, simply visit our FargoStuff website, select your Fargo or Moorhead heart, and choose the non-profit of your choice. If you don’t see yours on there, there is an option to write in your non-profit, too. We will ensure your proceeds are distributed to the proper charity.
