#FeatureFriday – Fargo Youth Baseball
If you’re familiar with our blog, you might be able to recall some of our #FeatureFriday posts about our awesome staff members. There will be more of those to come, but this week we’re changing things up a bit. This Feature Friday is shining a spotlight on one of our clients – Fargo Youth Baseball! We recently worked with them on a signage project that we’re excited to show to you. Probably about as excited as they are to open The ATTIC this month! Not sure what that is? Stay tuned.
To give you a little background, Fargo Youth Baseball was established in the fall of 2017 for ages 5 to 15. The merge of Fargo Babe Ruth and Fargo Little League with support from Fargo Park District allowed for this organization to arise this year. Not only is Fargo Youth Baseball presenting a new organization to the community, but their new building (The ATTIC) is well underway!

The ATTIC stands for All-Terrain Training Indoor Center. Big things are happening for this baseball organization. It is fully equipped with a turfed infield, batting cages, pitching mounds, and hitting equipment. This 11,000 square foot practice facility will provide youth baseball players with the opportunity to do what they love year round. A kid in a candy store is equivalent to a North Dakota kid practicing indoors in January. To give you a better idea of what this facility will look like, check out their website for more pictures and information.
Our job with this project was the signage – as you probably could have guessed. Mike Kary, one of our Account Manager behind this project, worked directly with Alex Sumner, the Executive Director of Fargo Youth Baseball. We started out doing banners and other outdoor signage with them last December before providing signage for The ATTIC. The plastic formed lettering and large round polymetal sign, shown below, can be found outside the building. Thanks to Scenic Signs out of West Fargo we were able to outsource the round sign shown!
For the indoor signage, we installed custom painted lettering, vinyl lettering, perforated vinyl for the indoor windows, and polymetal signage below the clock, some of which are shown below. Indoor installations are always welcome with subzero temperatures outside.
We’re very excited to watch this organization grow and we were happy to be a part of it! As a local business, we love working on local projects. A big thank you goes out to Fargo Youth Baseball for giving us the opportunity to work with you.
“I enjoyed working with Fargo Youth Baseball because I feel connected. Being a part of Babe Ruth as a kid, I feel like I am giving back to the community and our F-M Youth,” says Mike. We’ve enjoyed being a small part of this project, and we look forward to working with the Fargo Youth Baseball again!
