A Year of Thanks
I speak on behalf of our company when I say that 2018 was a year for the books. Our staff has grown exponentially, as well as our capabilities. We’ve taken on amazing custom projects. We’ve had the opportunity to work with impressive customers, such as Fitbit Inc., the TV series “Empire,” Chick-fil-a, and more, and we’ve built wonderful connections with our local clientele – relationships that encourage our capabilities and test our skills. And perhaps most importantly, we turned 10 years old! This we attribute to you – our local and national customers who have helped us grow and provided us with the opportunities to grow. From each of us at Office Sign Company, we thank you.
Projects
Not only did we put our Graphics Installation Specialists to work this year, but our Art Department helped to field some pretty amazing designs, too! You may have seen some of our proudly installed signage around the area. We had the opportunity to install amazing artwork from Marjorie Schlossman and company throughout West Acres Mall early this year, and it’s still up! Thank you to West Acres for coming to us with these fun signage projects – we always look forward to the process and final outcome.
We weren’t limited to the mall as far as displaying art goes! Thanks to awesome ideation from the Downtown Community Partnership, The Arts Partnership, NDSU, and more, we had a hand in making Downtown Fargo a bit brighter this summer. The Downtown Utility Box project is one that we are especially proud of, and we were beyond grateful to wrap the second Downtown Train Depot by Steve Knutson!
While perusing downtown, you may have come across these angel wings outside of Silver Linings Creamery. Perhaps one of the most interactive pieces we took part in, these angel wings (accompanied by angel wings for your dog) were designed by one of our very own artists, and installed by our talented team! We absolutely love seeing individuals, from kids to adults, engage with this fun idea. A huge thank you goes out to Michelle from Silver Linings Creamery for bringing wonderful ice cream and a fun idea to our downtown community.
While we’re on the vinyl kick, did we mention we wrapped grain bins for the first time? We were all excited about that project!
Vinyl, vinyl, and more vinyl seemed to have consumed our year, but we did have a hand in other projects, too. This sign project came to us from a farm in Minnesota, and we loved watching it come to life. Thank you to the Zurn family for allowing us to create this family momentum for you!
Though we have so many other projects we’d like to share, we’ll stop there just to extend a sincere (you guessed it) thank you for entrusting us with your signage design, fabrication, and installation. You have each helped us to grow in our roles here to better ourselves for the next 10+ years.
Accomplishments
Ten years ago, Office Sign Company was a mere “mock-up” company that was created while giving a pitch about a marketing company. In those 10 years, Office Sign Company grew from a one-man band in a basement, to a company with two locations and almost 50 employees.
Ryan Fritz (founder and CEO) set a standard at this company to push out high quality products and high quality service among an incredible workplace culture. Our company values our community and our customers, but our company culture is held at perhaps the highest regard for our staff. In May of 2018, Office Sign Company earned “Young Professionals’ Best Place to Work” from the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce! We were honored to receive such an award, and a huge thank you goes out to our Chamber for recognizing deserving businesses each year at the annual Chamber Awards.
In short, we thank our talented and driven staff who day in and day out exceed our expectations with their hard work and positivity. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them! We thank our local customers who we’ve had the opportunity to know on a friendship level – you’ve given us amazing opportunities in our community to diversify our capabilities, and we are thankful for that. We thank our national customers for helping us to put the city we know and love on the map! We thank our CEO and management team for building a rapport and an amazing environment to work in; 2018 was an amazing year full of challenges, opportunity, and growth. Cheers to the last 10 years, and cheers to many more! Happy Holidays from Office Sign Company!
