We recently added a new machine to our Production Headquarters, and we are excited to further accommodate our customers’ needs with our extended capabilities! This new machine is formerly known as the Direct Color Systems Large Format Printer, but here it’s simply known as our ADA-Compliant Printer. Allow us to walk you through its capabilities in reference to the Direct Color Systems website, and how it will benefit your ordering process!
Capabilities:
ADA-Compliant Braille Sign Printing
When it comes to the construction process of a new building, the last thing you want to deal with is ADA compliancy and ensuring that your building is up to code. With this machine, it does that for us! With first or second-surface graphics, it can create raised-texture signage in less than four minutes.
Textured Printing
In reference to the point above, this ADA-Compliant Printer can print on plastics, acrylic, wood, metals, and much more. The raised prints will make any award stand out, and it’s completed in no time at all.

Direct-to-Substrate Printing
What substrates can it print on? A better question would be what substrates can’t it print on. This machine is capable of printing on the ridged surface of golf balls, it can print high-definition (and even raised) images on phone and tablet cases, curved surfaces of bottles, candles, tubes, cans, glasses, and more, t-shirts, PVC, acrylics, metals, and wood. What can’t it print on? I don’t know.

Ordering Process
We decided to add this machine to our Headquarters for two reasons:
- To maximize production and aid in your product’s turnaround time
- And to expand our capabilities
We had the necessary machines capable of producing ADA compliant signs prior to the ADA-Compliant Printer, but we are now able to push through more products at a quicker rate. This means that our turnaround time for our popular products can get shipped out when or before you’ll need them.
Being able to say that we can now print on golf balls is pretty gratifying for us, and we are excited to see what challenges you’ll present us with next! We’re always open to expanding our capabilities. If the demand is high enough, that turns into a new product to add to our site and another skill we can add to our resume (so to speak).
