We added another new team member to the Office Sign Company family! We are so excited to add her many talents to our Art Department – meet Beth! Beth joined the Office Sign Company team a few weeks ago and has already made such a positive impact! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things Beth will do! Meet Beth:
What’s your name?
- Beth – short for Elizabeth
Where are you originally from?
- I grew up on a farm in the Mayville/Portland, North Dakota area.
What’s your current position at Office Sign Company?
- Print Production Specialist
Can you tell us what all that will entail?
- I will be overseeing the “Ready for Art queue” by turning orders into production-ready art files. I will also serve as a float within the production department, helping out wherever needed!
Did you attend college? If so:
- When did you graduate? 2016
- From where? MSUM
- What degree did you pursue? I have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications with an emphasis in Digital Design and Production. I also have a minor in Photojournalism!
Have you worked anywhere previously? If so, where?
- For about 3-ish years, I was the Print Services Supervisor at the Copy and Print Center at Office Depot.
Do you have any hidden talents or random fun facts you’d like to share?
- One fun fact about me is that I have a pen-pal who lives in England! I love letters and mail!
Favorite activity? Or sports/sports team?
- Hockey will always have a soft spot in my heart, as I played for 10 years. I also like yoga!
What are you most looking forward to while working here?
- I’m really looking forward to participating in culture events and getting to know the team!
What’s your favorite part about this community?
- My favorite part about this community is how everyone shows a lot of pride in living here!
When I’m not at OSC, you can find me…
- I really love traveling and going on new adventures. I have been skydiving, snorkeling, and parasailing, to name a few! When I’m not able to travel, you can probably find me doing some sort of arts and crafts or hanging out with my boyfriend, Jordan, and our cat Oscar.
What’s your favorite meal/restaurant in Fargo?
- HuHot!
What advice would you give to younger people trying to get into your profession?
- I would tell others that it is okay to be undecided about your career path and that you don’t need to choose just one career!
