#FridayFeature: American Red Cross!

Office Sign Company has had the opportunity to work with incredible people, businesses, and non-profits in the last 10 years. One organization in particular, and one that we happen to have right here in our community, is American Red Cross.

The work that the Red Cross does just in our Dakotas and Northwest Minnesota Region is truly astounding; let alone the impact the 600 combined chapters have across this nation. The Dakotas Region covers North Dakota, South Dakota, and 10 counties in Northwestern Minnesota. In January alone, they’ve had 24 responses to Fargo, Jamestown, Wahpeton, Frazee, Bismarck, Belcourt, Walcott and Tioga – not to mention more than a dozen areas in South Dakota. Along with the work they do in our region, they’ve expanded their efforts with four Dakota Region volunteers currently deployed to help with the California Wildfires.

They initiate fire preventative strategies through campaigns such as “Sound the Alarm. Save a Life.” which installed over 14,000 fire alarms across our region. They continuously educate the public on how to react in case of a disaster. As of recent, you can find plenty of tips for the bone-chilling weather we’re experiencing just on their Facebook page!

We’ve been fortunate to work with the Fargo-based American Red Cross the last few years, and we’ve built relationships with some remarkable people! Below are some of the projects we’ve had the pleasure to work with them on!

In short, we want to extend a thank you to the Red Cross for the amazing work they do in our community, our region, and our nation. Their immediate responsiveness, preventative strategies, and public education are making a notable impact. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with such an organization and see firsthand their incredible work.
